We went to Vermont to do what the locals call “Leaf Peeping.” We were lucky enough to meet Diana’s friends, Ruby and Nephi Jackson (not pictured—wonder what that says??). They told us that the leaves were past their prime, but we sure enjoyed the vibrant colors anyway.[Grandma Diana admires the flowers, and Beckett tries to maul them.]
Ruby and Nephi turn out to be connoisseurs of not just leaves, but old roads, covered bridges, and leaning silos.
