Yesterday we were in Nantucket visiting our friends Kirsten and Marshall. Clearly the monied atmosphere influenced Beckett dramatically. When he woke up he told me, "I have credit card. I go Chucucago (Chicago) and California." (He has been talking about Chicago and California since Bruce and I had to visit each of those places for conferences.) Clearly this is the case of have card, will travel.
